It is hard to believe that 2017 is already behind us. The holidays and the great times we had are now memories and we are looking to the New Year for new opportunities yet to be realized. It seems that only a short while ago, Ken Notaro and I started Williams Notaro, but in reality, it has been 21 years since that day! I remain in awe at how quickly time passes and always feel that I could have done more as I look back.
2017 was very busy here at WNA. We were fortunate to work on many interesting and challenging projects that kept us all engaged throughout the year. We met new people and developed new relationships that we look forward to continuing in 2018. There did not seem to be any real “down time” and our outstanding staff kept up an amazing pace without complaint. I am thankful to them and their dedication to our clients, our projects, and our company.
Last year was not without its challenges. We lost a great client and a close friend, Mitch Slavensky of ACS Controls. I enjoyed every minute I spent with Mitch, whether at a job site, working out a challenging issue, or just sharing a nice meal with a glass of wine. His positive outlook, optimism, and enthusiasm were contagious. I learned much from him and will always value our time together. I think of him often and miss him.
We credit our success in 2017 to our clients and our fantastic staff. While we may not say it frequently enough, we are privileged and thankful for the trust our clients place in us. We will continue to strive to be diligent, focused, and responsive to maintain that trust and to demonstrate that philosophy in 2018.
Our dedicated staff makes all of this possible and their focus on excellence is the foundation of who we are. Ken and I are very lucky to be working with an incredible team who step up and do whatever it takes to keep the office running smoothly, meet our deadlines, and always strive to provide outstanding quality and service. We appreciate their devotion and thank them for all they did last year.
I am thankful for the opportunities presented to us in 2017 and am optimistic about what 2018 will bring. I look forward to continuing to write the WNA story and hope everyone has a successful, healthy and very happy New Year!
